Veronica Hwang

Choir Director & Founder

Veronica founded Stockholm's K-pop Choir in 2020, creating a unique space for K-pop fans to come together through music. With a background from Yonsei University in Seoul and experience as an IB Korean teacher, she brings both musical expertise and a passion for Korean culture. Her welcoming approach makes everyone feel at home, regardless of singing experience.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need singing experience to join?
Not at all! Our choir welcomes everyone, from shower singers to trained vocalists. We'll teach you everything you need to know.
Do I need to know Korean?
No Korean knowledge is required. We provide lyrics in romanized Hangul so you can learn the pronunciation, and our conductor helps you sound authentic.
What songs do you sing?
We sing popular K-pop songs from artists like BTS, BLACKPINK, IU, and more! Past favorites include "Permission to Dance," and the repertoire changes each term.
What if I miss a rehearsal?
Life happens! You'll have access to all digital materials including practice tracks, so you can catch up on your own. Just try not to miss too many before performances!
Is there an age requirement?
The choir is open to adults (18+). All ages and backgrounds are welcome!
